Drive In Movies
It seems like yesterday that my parents would check the movies listings for the Drive-In and we would grab a pizza or a bucket of chicken and head to the movies. We would run into friends there and play on the playground until the first movie would start and then figure out where our car was and settle in for the show. Intermission would come and even though we had a big bucket of KFC only half devoured we would beg for something from the snack bar...Dad always gave in and we

Over and Over again
Here at RODTEES we like to create a fun and creative environment which means usually in addition to having cool surroundings here in the shop with kustom kulture art, posters, mancave banners, road signs, etc. we also have music playing and more often than not the TV is on. At least once or twice a month we call on our favorite movie to fill the shop's flat screen with the greatest of all car movies: American Graffiti What is it about American Graffiti that never grows old..

Monsters, Finks and other inspirations!
I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana except for a brief period most summers after I was done playing baseball when I got to go visit my Grandparents in San Diego, Ca. It was there that some of my interests were shaped by my Grandparents and this new thing called cable tv...and the SoCal car culture. My Grandpa Gene loved cars (even though he was very tall he loved and had Sunbeam Tigers and Bugeye Sprites) and used to take me to the local car shows (and to grab a taco or two) and

We get by with a lot of help from our friends!
As I sit here and strategize how in the world we are going to get our business moved to our new facility in the next 4 weeks I look back on what has allowed us to take this next step. It really is simple...our friends made it possible! By friends I mean the artists who refer work to us and trust us to faithfully reproduce their awesome artwork on t-shirts, decals, banners, hats, etc. Thanks to the many customers who have become friends who not only do business with us but als

We are super excited (and a bit overwhelmed) to be moving into this new space which will allow us to add more equipment and also showcase our work to walk-in clientele a bit better (even though most of our business is online it will be nice for those who are in the area and want to stop by and hangout for a bit to have a nice place to visit). I

Why I love my job/biz
Today as I was driving in to the shop and scanning emails while sitting in the drop off line at my daughter's school I was reminded why I love what I do so much. The first email I saw was from our buddy FatDaddy with some absolutely killer art for the kool kats at Krazy Paint who do both amazing artwork and give back to the community by giving of their talents. The next email I saw was from another customer asking for their tracking number on a shipment of t-shirts we printed

T-Shirts & other Crap!
Many people have asked me about the tagline we have used for the last 15 years which is: T-SHIRTS & OTHER CRAP! They ask why I use a tagline which, in their opinion, devalues what we do...I beg to differ and I will tell you why...Hot Rodding, Kustom Kulture, Friends, Music, etc are about having a good time and we like to have a good time here at RODTEES and we don't take ourselves too seriously. Don't get me wrong we want to do the best job we possibly can for you and we tak
